Loving Golden Retriever Pup Saves Owner From A Rattlesnake In Arizona!

We have heard many heroic stories about man’s best friend who saved them from dangerous situations. This is another story about a four-legged friend who is hailed as a hero because he fought a rattlesnake while rescuing his owner, taking a awful bite in the process.

Todd is a golden retriever who was accompanying his owner Paula Goodwin on a hike in Anthem, Arizona and after a while they came across with a deadly rattlesnake.

Rattlesnakes are known to be one of the most venomous snakes in the world, killing thousands of people around the world. When Paula was about to unconsciously step on the rattlesnake, Todd spotted the snake and immediately jumped in front of her leg.

He saved Paula, but unluckily, his heroism cost him a awful bite on the face, which made his face very swollen. Paula posted Todd’s photos on her  Facebook  wall with a caption that he is her hero and savior.

Paula immediately drove Todd to the  Anthem Animal Hospital  where he underwent treatment. He expects a full recovery.

Photos of him with a wide smile despite the injury have gone viral on social media where his newly discovered fans praise him for what he did to save her owner’s life.

Well, it is true that dogs do not expect anything in return for their services to humans, they just want to be loved.
