It’s hard to believe that someone would leave a dog at all, and it’s even harder to believe that someone would leave a dog who is blind!
But that’s what exactly happened to Kanga, a blind retriever who was found together with his brother during a field near Long Beach .
Rescuers immediately noticed that Kanga was not only blind, but also had congenital defects on his paws that made it difficult for him to manage.
His rescuers believe that it may have been too difficult for the previous owner of Kanga to take care of him.
Fortunately for Kanga, he was taken in by the retriever Club of Greater l. a. (GRCGLA) Rescue.
They cared for him as they looked for a family that could properly care for and love him. The affectionate retriever spent a while expecting adoption, until at some point the special dog found the right home.
