In the Rio Grande Valley in Texas on Friday, a baby dog was spotted lying on the side of the road for at least five hours barely ready to move.
He was hit by a car and managed to crawl to the edge of the road – reports from casual observers said the dog was screaming in pain, but no one stopped to help him.
“God, he’s so scared. He will spend the night there after being hit by a car. He stayed there for hours in the middle of nowhere and dragged the body along the side of the road. He desperately needs salvation and a breadwinner, ” – a sort volunteer rescuer posted on social media posing for help.
Fortunately, social media quickly rushed to the rescue and helped transfer the puppy to Red Fern Animal Rescue, a nonprofit rescue animal in Denver, CO that rescues animals from the euthanasia list.
