Adorable Dog Donates Blood To Save Another Dog’s Life !
|Most often, people are the ones who donate blood…
So imagine how wonderful a dog that gives blood is, right? Well, you’ll probably love Jax.

A seven-year-old dog recently donated blood to save a lot of anemic puppies. What an honest LAD.
Jennifer Fowler, owner of Jax, told LADbible: “He loves any kind of attention and sits quietly during any procedure.”
“That day [he gave blood] we had an anemic puppy at our disposal knocking on the door of death. There were almost no red blood cells left in the poor puppy’s body, so he needed a transfusion.”
“We were unable to urge in touch with the owners for about an hour, but we wanted to travel ahead and obtain things ready in order that as soon as they okayed the procedure, we might be ready.
“We don’t keep tons of blood available and we believe in giving in most situations like this. Employees will usually volunteer to report their own pets to help if there is no risk to our pets in the process.
“I asked my husband to bring him to our clinic from our house about 10 minutes away. He was thrilled to find everyone and sat very still when asked while we shaved some fur on his neck and cleaned it so the place could be sterile.
“Using a needle and a transfusion bag, we simply drew blood from his neck for about 30 seconds, while I held him by the head and kissed him on the face, he waved his tail the whole time and never once whimpered or cried.
Happy 7th birthday to this heart of mine ❤️ Jax has had quite the birthday week! He’s donated blood and saved a life, gone viral, had a tooth pulled, and turned 7 all in one week. This sweet boy brings me nothing but joy and I love him to the ends of the earth 🥰 Happy Bday Jax! pic.twitter.com/BdgihRpZVb

“After about 30 seconds it was over, and he got a number of treats and a high-calorie snack with wet food, as well as a little water, and the rest of the afternoon he had to roll around during a super comfortable bed.”
Jennifer continued: “Due to the tiny size of the puppy, that one bag was enough for 3 transfusions. The puppy drastically improved and need to head home a couple of days later.”
What a life-saver!
