A stray dog helped firefighters in Turkey to rescue her puppies after they got stuck in a drainage canal in the city of Bodrum in the Turkish province of Muğla.

Firefighters were helped by a stray dog rescuing her puppies!

Firefighters were ready to stop the water growth, but could not reach eight puppies to free them. And once they noticed the puppies’ mother suckling another puppy nearby.

Then they lowered her into the opening so she could catch the puppies with her mouth. One by one she gently picked up the puppies in her mouth and pulled them to safety!

A video of the mother’s heroic dog was recorded, which helped in the rescue.

Observers cheered whenever the mother pulled the puppy to safety.

Within an hour, all the puppies were reunited with their mother!
