Sick Dog Tossed In Landfill For Being “Useless”, Buried In Trash & Waits To Die

In a deserted landfill in Corum, Turkey  Kratos an 8-year-old Kangal Shepherd was found burried in trash.

The poor dog was not only malnourished and dehydrated but he had also suffered complete hair loss due to the various oozing sores that covered his body. It was clear to see then pain in his eyes.

On a very cold day, some “Rescuers Without Borders” volunteers discovered little Kratos collapsed during a muddy hole within the hazardous landfill. Unfortunately this is something that happens often. Over 800 dogs were dumped in landfills and volunteers try to to rescue them .

Sadly, many of the dogs die before they can even get help. Rescuers think that the owners of these abandoned dogs often discard their pets when they might get sick or old. Many have stated that the dogs are always friendly and happy when they see a human who wants to save them.

Unfortunately Krato’s recovery isn’t going very fast because of his  weakened system but rescuers don’t lose faith! They sure hope that he will be fully recovered again within the next two months. We wish this poor dog to get well soon and to be able to live the life he deserves.
