Unfortunately some people don’t hesitate to hurt animals for no reason. A cruelty was done to a German Shepherd named Kiryusha, when his owner decided out of nowhere to give the dog fatal injection and burry him alive. Luckily the dog had manged to dug himself out.
Olga Listseva, a thirtynine years old lady, was driving past a highway in northern Russia, she spotted a dog walking slowly in the rain.
She continued to drive but after a few minutes and after seeing the tiredness and hopelessness in the eyes of the dog, she turned around and went to rescue the little dog.
His fur was soak wet and he was very exhausted . Olga offered him some food and let him sit at the back seat of the car. He slept all the way to Ukhta, a 93-mile drive. She brought him to a dog rescue service called Kind City.
They posted some pictures of the dog and suddenly his owners were found and contacted. They claimed that the poor dog was unhealthy and that’s why they did that to him, a claim that was totally false.
As it turned out, an unnamed couple admitted that they had injected him with a lethal drug to kill him. They then buried him alive in a remote location near the Ukhta-Siktifkar Highway.
Kiryu was examined by vets and came out that he was pretty healthy, the only thing he suffered from was hunger. The animal shelter said that the couple contacted them again and apologized.
Rescue squad Ekaterina Nimac said: ‘Thanks to Olga, Kiryu has started a new life. At the shelter, he is very calm.”
Thankfully Kiryusha is now safe and is adopted by his new family, we wish him the best and hope that he won’t ever have to experience something so horrible again.
