Nice Restaurant Owner Prepares A Free Meal For Every Stray Dog Who Visits !

Ultimately, Ortiz’s sweet routine of feeding all the stray dogs who visit restaurant does more than keep them from being hungry.

One evening five years ago, an unexpected customer stopped by Gerard Ortiz’s restaurant, Ajilalo, Peru. it was a stray dog, with a look of hunger in her eyes.

Ortiz could easily have refused the dog. But he didn’t do it!

That evening Ortiz offered the dog a free meal, created just for her.

And thus began an adorable tradition that continues to the present day.

Every night since, a hungry dog came and got a free meal from Ortiz’s restaurant…

But it didn’t take long for word of Ortiz’s kindness and generosity to spread among the community of local stray pups.

More dogs started arriving after the first visitor – Ortiz greeted them all with a meal.

Today, numerous stray dogs arrive at the door of Ortiz’s restaurant every night. Many are regular “customers,” while others are there for the first time – all hoping to inflate their bellies for Ortiz’s kindness.

Often, as Ortiz is functioning , he’ll search and see a replacement dog’s face at the front — waiting politely to ascertain if the rumor that free food can found there’s true.

It always is…

“For me, they are the simplest customers,” Ortiz told The Dodo.

And its human customers, inspired by Ortiz, often bring food for the dogs they visit.

“Fortunately, our clients responded well to the dogs,” Ortiz said. “They are loving them.”

He lets them know that their lives are important – a truth that Ortiz is happy to convince them of every day.

“They don’t pay us with money, but they pay us with their happiness and wagging tails,” Ortiz said. “They are very grateful, and that we enjoy giving quite receiving. Since i used to be a toddler , I even have loved animals. My mother always taught us to assist others, both people and animals. She’s my inspiration.”
