Dog Abandoned In Park Gets Adopted By The Cop Who Rescued Her

In Bloomington, Indiana a boxer-pit bull mix named Daisy was abandoned in a park. The dog was spotted by a local who was walking by exactly at the same spot she was left. He then informed the sheriff’s office and once Officer Jeff Ripley arrived, things changed!

Rosie Ahlberg, Jeff’s fiancé who’s also a daily volunteer at the town of Bloomington Animal Care and Control shelter got the pooch on the backseat and after checking out the shelter was closed for the day, they decided to possess Daisy home for an evening , as they waited to urge her the medical help she needed. The day after, they took her to the vet and it seemed that the poor dog was found to possess several injuries that needed surgery she was also traumatised due to emotional abuse. Jeff and Rosie tracked down Daisy’s owners and that they said they wanted nothing to try to to together with her , therefore the cop and his fiancé decided to adopt her.

Daisy won’t be the couple’s first rescue dog, the already have two rescue cats and a rescue dog! Thanfully all four of them get along with each other pretty good. As days pass by Daisy feels more comfortable in her new home. The family is waiting for Daisy to have her surgery and hope that she will recover quickly.

We hope for the best! Here are some heartwarming images of Daisy and her new life.
