Starving Dog Found Emaciated In Basement Starts His Own Bucket List Adventure !

The Good Samaritan called the Humane shelter CNY and told them about a skinny dog that was in a cage in the basement of the house next to his son.

So, Christine McNeely, the director of the shelter called Syracuse local department for help. Police directly visited the scene and found a pit bulls called Jada-Sonny, in poor condition, directly confiscated the dogs from their owners who were accused of animal cruelty.

The pit bull mom was taken directly to a CNY veterinary center who said that she would have died if she wasn’t rescued during a few more days. Jada, who was covered in lumps and scars, got a lot of TLC and after a few days she started to feel relaxed.

Luckily, she started sleeping well and gaining a pound a day, so the staff decided to transfer her to the Humane CNY shelter after each week of control feeding. But they decided to examine her one last time after performing some tests and found that she had huge cancer.

Humane CNY said she would die of cancer in a few months.  Knowing that they decided to hunt out a hospice home to spend her last months amorously. But as she starved and was medically neglected, and thanks to her age, they could do nothing but try to please her in her last days.

So, they decided to make Jada’s Bucket List to offer her more great things. She scratched many things of her list and a few of them were going to eat frozen dessert and other one was to get on TV as she was met by a reporter from an area TV news channel.

Luckily, she got many other things from her Bucket List and one of them was to identify her son Sonny, who is getting temperament tested and he are going to be available for adoption when he’s ready.
