Stray PitBull with Doleful Eyes Unsure if She Can Trust Rescuers Takes Leap of Faith
One day Sheila spotted a little PitBull darting through traffic towards an abandoned home, she noticed that the poor dog had a deep gash around her throat.
The kind hearted woman, immediately informed Stray Rescue of St. Louis , who send some rescued to pick up the wounded pup. Dona – one of the rescuers- tried with the softest way possible to approach the terrified dog but it wasn’t easy for the pooch to trust Dona.
The white and tan Pit Bull wanted to sit by a car and try her luck after some gentle coaxing. Donna’s sad, expressive eyes stared up at her with a look of trepidation, as though she didn’t trust her. She was fortunate in that she took a gamble.
When Manika ( her new name) realized that she was in a safe place, she relaxed and layed her head on the armrest of the car. Knowing for the first time that she can take a nap peacfully.
Rescuers discover that some sort of nasty pinch collar caused deep wounds that couldn’t be sutured at the trauma center. But it’s great to see how Minka’s mood has changed only a day later! Only wait before you see what you’re about to see in the video below:
