Dog Waits 9 Years In A Shelter Before Finding Loving Foster Home !

This dog, named Beauty, was found abandoned as a puppy in the town of Mani in Greece. After she was found, she was taken into custody by a local charity and unfortunately spent the first nine years of her life in a shelter.

Beauty, along with 150 other dogs at that shelter, waited every day for a family to adopt them. Every time someone would walk by her cage she would wag her tail in anticipation and hope. But that day never came for Beauty.

To make matters worse, Beauty fell ill with leishmaniasis, a parasitic disease, last summer. They could not allow her to live in the shelter while she was ill, so they brought her to Athens to live in a foster home, where she would finally receive proper care.

The best part is that Beauty will never have to live in a shelter again. He will stay in his foster home, but he is still waiting for home forever.

In the meantime, he will continue to be treated. She is much better and feels! Her foster parent Zaire has a heart of gold and always receives the sickest dogs and tries to breastfeed them for health. Unfortunately, many of them passed away, but Beauty proved to be a real figure. Although she was very weak and didn’t seem to be succeeding, she defied all odds and managed to make it through!

She has been given a second chance at life, but is now looking for a permanent home with a family that will love her unconditionally. She is a very kind and sweet puppy and definitely deserves a happy ending after all she had been through.
