Pit Bull Shot Several Times Stays Positive After Leg Amputation !

Instead of getting angry, he just wanted to know why his man drove off without him.

Dogs are completely dedicated to their owners. Even when people no longer love them, dogs stay with them. Dogs have no idea how to get angry at people or resent them. It is a desirable trait, but often leads to their demise.

Kevin, Pete Bull “unofficially” named, is the epitome of a dog of boundless loyalty. His man shot him several times before leaving him. Instead of getting angry, Kevin just wanted to know why the man had left him behind.

When Humans Turn on Dogs

Witnesses reported hearing six shots the day Kevin was discovered. Someone noticed Pit Bull following the man to the car, but the driver closed the car door in Kevin’s face and sped away. Although he was betrayed by his owner, the dog seemed confused as to why the person had abandoned him.

Soon after, Manassas Park police arrived on the scene. Kevin was no longer present, but they followed the trail of blood in the woods in search of him. He was shot several times, including once in his right shoulder and once in his right hind leg. Police took him to MedVet North Virginia so his injuries could be resolved as soon as possible.

Police are still looking for the person who did this to an innocent puppy. They’re not sure if the shooter is Kevin’s man, but they know Kevin knows the suspect based on how he reacted to their departure.

The Influence of Determinate Dog Lovers

Kevin had to have surgery to remove a bullet from his jaw, as well as stitches where the rounds entered and departed his body. On top of that, he had to have his back leg amputated. All of the generous donations made it possible for the vet to obtain such intensive medical care. When dog lovers learned about Kevin’s story, they were eager to assist.

And, despite the fact that amputation is a difficult process, Kevin seems unconcerned about it. Despite everything that happened to him, he remained a cheerful and hopeful dog.

Kevin is currently resting nicely while he heals. He still has a long way to go to rehab, but he seems confident that everything will be fine. Cops are already figuring out where the ideal home for him will be, so the future seems promising. Soon this adored Pit Bull will have a warm, cozy home where he will no longer have to fear getting hurt.
