Golden Retriever Saves Fawn From Drowning While His Owner Watches !

This sweet, brave dog was at the right place, at the right time! ❤️

Not all heroes wear capes, some have fur, which makes them all the more special.

When this gentle-hearted golden retriever saw a deer in serious distress, the brave dog went into action, saving its life.

Storm was on the lake with her owner when he spotted the cub struggling in the water. Without thinking, the dog jumped straight into the lake and swam to the cub.

As its owner took this video from the shore, Storm grabbed the cub and began swimming it back to safety on shore. Once he reached knee-deep water, the dog continued to carry and drag the cub dry.

Unsatisfied with his efforts stopping, sweet Storm continued to lick and push the cub as if trying to revive him. His owner had to convince Storm that he had done a good job and now he could leave the exhausted cub alone to recover.

Worried over the baby, wildlife rescuers were called in and when they arrived, the scared fawn ran straight back into the lake. Thankfully, one of the rescuers rushed right in to save it, for a second time that day.

Not wanting to risk another chance with the baby, rescuers took her to a wildlife sanctuary, where the cub would be safe until it grows up. We would never know what happened to her mother or whether she might have been on the other side of the water, but it was clear that the cub was too young to swim safely.

Thankfully, she had a fur covered guardian angel that day who was not about to let her drown. What a good dog Storm was. We hope his owner gave him a special treat. He certainly deserves it and much more.
