Starving Pit Bull Found Chained To Tree Becomes The Sweetest Dog

A bulldog tied to a tree outside an abandonded house has had an interesting convalescense with the help of rescuers.

Officer Nick at the Animal Control Center in Fulton County, Georgia, discovered the dog after receiving a call. Her neck was badly scratched from the chain wound tightly around her neck, and she or he was starving. The dog directly cried out when she saw him, so grateful to ascertain someone.

Her eyes were pleading with him for help, and her tail wouldn’t stop wagging. Officer Nick reached out to help the pup.

Taking her to the shelter, the staff reached out to the Hell Bull to rescue Jason Pratt, the founder of “Friends of the Forsaken”. Zoe (named Cammy by rescuers at the time) gave Jason a cuddle the instant she saw him.

Jason immediately took her to the vet, where they treated her. The video below shows Nick coming to Zoe’s rescue and her subsequent rescue by Jason.

In the next 7 months, she received nursing care, gained weight and recovered, so the moment her new family met her before after the picture, they knew they wanted to offer her a forever home.

Zoe became a healthy dog, and her new family said she might be a quiet, docile dog. She gets along pretty well with everyone and likes puppy daycare. It’s heartbreaking to find out the video of how she was found, knowing she nearly died abandoned, starving and alone! But Zoe is that the happiest dog now and that’s what matters!
