Salty the Greyhound has a very pronounced bite that gives the teeth a human look. While many shelter visitors thought her teeth were ugly and grotesque, a Melbourne family eventually fell in love with her and adopted her!
Mom Lucy Percival had a great time cuddling Salty and discovering a new side of her personality every day. But one day, Salty started gnashing her teeth uncontrollably and this caused concern to her parents. As Lucy hugged Salty and wondered what was wrong, the dog’s chatter grew louder.

Lucy Salty calls it the greatest gift of her life, and she also thanks her “social” dog for helping her create priceless friendships in her community. Rescue dogs are always such a blessing, no matter what they look like!
