Jonathan and Yana were travelling across Greece when they came upon a mother dog and her puppies in need of assistance. They quickly came to a halt and examined the two creatures. When the couple spotted the dogs, they believed they had been abandoned. They couldn’t allow them to fend for themselves, so the two nice people decided to aid them. They discovered DAR Animal Rescue on the internet and contacted them through the UK organization GAR for assistance.
After getting the call, Ermioni and her colleagues went to save the animals. They arrived at their location after three hours. They quickly assessed the dogs’ circumstances and prepared a safe transport box to transfer them to the shelter when they arrived. With the aid of Jonathan and Yana, they eventually put the dogs into the carrier box. Because the puppy was afraid and agitated, they used a towel to cover her eyes.
They carried the carrier into the shelter and created a safe haven for the mother and her scared puppy. The two animals needed extra time to acclimate to their new surroundings because they had spent so much time in the mountains. The rescuers learned that in order to follow their schedule and care for them, they needed patience as well. After conversing for a while, they let the dogs enjoy their new home and rest.
The next day, Ermioni took the dogs to the vet for a check-up. The physicians examined them and gave them all the medical care and attention they need. Because this was their first visit to a clinic, Ermioni stayed with them during the process and helped them feel at comfortable. After receiving all required care, they returned to the shelter and began their new life with other dogs. However, it was not the end of their incredible story.
Jonathan and Yana decided to adopt the two dogs after returning to the shelter one day. After all that has happened to them in the past, they are now enjoying the joyous life that they deserve. We are convinced that the loving couple will do everything in their power to keep their pet dogs happy and healthy.
