Dearman was located in front of the Morrisons supermarket when the sky opened, showering everyone and everything outside.
Dearman luckily had an umbrella to protect himself from the downpour, but when he noticed a puppy hit by the rain, he concluded that the puppy needed it more than he did.

Dearman shielded the puppy gratefully with an umbrella and kept him dry while they waited for the puppy’s family to return from shopping.

The kind act was noticed by another shopper, Twitter user MelGracie_, who took a picture of the sweet scene and praised Dearman on Twitter.

In a tweet, she revealed that Dearman explained his sweet gesture with the real words “‘so you never know how dogs feel in the rain’.”
