Rescue dog drags her blanket outside to share with a freezing stray pup

The dogs have shown repeatedly that they’re willing to do anything to help anyone in need. Yet even so, they never cease to amaze us with their generosity. A 8-month-old rescue pup in Brazil won everyone’s heart with her amazing gesture.

The story of Lana starts on the streets when she and her siblings live on the streets. Before they were rescued, Lana lived on the streets with her siblings. Eventually, Lana was adopted by a young couple and became one of the happiest dogs around. But apparently her new life turned her into an even more caring soul. Lana fell in love at first sight when she met Suelen Schaumloeffel and her husband. The rescue pup immediately knew she’d be in good hands and knew all she’d need was love. However, Lana still used to sleep in the backyard, and as the temperatures declined, During her childhood, her parents gave her a worm-shaped blanket. She always slept and played with it.

A cold morning, as Suelen’s husband entered their home to get ready for work, he was dumbfounded by the sight he saw. As he stepped outside, he realized Lana had dragged her blanket into the streets to share with a homeless doggie.

Her parents both broke down with tears after seeing Lana’s heartwarming act. “I thought, ‘How beautiful what she did for her friend,'” Suelen told The Dodo. “My best four-legged friend reminded me of something very important: generosity!”

Sheelen and her husband even attempted to approach the freezing puppy to check if he had an ID tag, but the puppy ran away after getting scared. They assumed that he might be an abandoned animal. However, they hope, he would return to help him out, just like their beloved Lana did.

“She is the nicest little dog I’ve ever met,” the woman said. “We forget sometimes the difference we can make in someone’s life. She reminded me of this. ”
