Panicked dog comes at night to his mother and begs her to follow him

 The Brussos adopted their dog, Duke, from an orphanage in Portland, Connecticut. Duke is not satisfied with life in the orphanage, but gradually becomes the perfect companion for his family.

Six years later, Duke expresses his gratitude to Brusso in the most gracious way possible! The family recently welcomed their young daughter, Harper, and Duke immediately became very protective of his sister.

Duke jumped onto his parents’ bed while they slept soundly one night, as the family slept peacefully. His mother realized something was wrong when he began shaking uncontrollably and refusing to follow any orders.

A nine-week-old baby was not breathing in Duke’s parents’ room, so he alerted them to the problem. Harper’s life was saved at the last minute by a doctor while his family rushed him to the emergency room!

Duke finally calmed down after making sure his sister was breathing well and doing well! They are grateful to Duke, who is unaware that he is a hero, for saving them in time. They shudder at the thought of what might have happened if Duke hadn’t reminded them in time.

Hopefully Duke’s story will inspire more people to consider rescuing one of these brave and loyal dogs!
