Dog With Crooked Face and Heart of Gold Finds a Family to Love
|After a rough start in life, Woody was looking for a forever family…now we have heartwarming news to share.
A crooked-faced dog is seeking for a permanent home. According to S.N.A.R.R Animal Rescue Northeast, Woody was attacked by another dog when he was just 5 weeks old and was “allowed to heal on his own with no veterinary attention.”
SNARR came to Woody’s aid after learning that he was tied outside and had been abandoned by his owners. Woody was alone for six weeks, living on the charity of neighbors who fed him, until word reached SNARR.

SNARR says on Facebook, “Woody’s ‘family’ moved out and abandoned him at the residence.” “We were requested to take him into rescue, and we, of course, replied YES!”
Despite the fact that his face is uneven, Woody is healthy. “He simply looks a little different,” his rescuers remark, “which doesn’t worry us one bit.” “In fact, it’s what made us fall even more in love with him.”

His rescuers were smitten by more than just his appearance. They quickly discovered that the Pit Bull had a large heart.
When Woody arrived at his foster home, his foster mother was not pleased.
“I was sick with a fever the first day we got Woody,” foster parent Jamie Bond told The Dodo. “He sensed something was wrong and never left my side.” He spent the entire afternoon cuddling with me on the couch. He’s now my shadow, always following me around and making sure I’m safe. Woody enjoys curling up on the bed and resting his head on my chest.”
