Hiker Finds Dying Dog With Bullet Wounds, Carried Him For An Hour To Find Help

The 2-year-old Pitbull was discovered half-dead on a rock by Andi Davis, who was walking in Phoenix, Arizona, when she discovered that he had multiple bullet wounds and was bleeding heavily.

She offered him a glass of water, but he was barely breathing. She rushed down the slopes with the 47-pound puppy in her arms, hopeless to see him survive.

Afterwards, Andi took the Pit Bull to the Arizona Humane Society for treatment. The veterinarians cleaned the open wound in the pet’s stomach and removed the gunshot fragments from his spine and neck. Andi urged him to fight back and live.

After Andi’s bravery, the Pit Bull was finally able to pass! Andi named the animal Elijah as well as showed him that he was loved and cared for in his new home. Elijah recovered quickly given that he was lavished with love and attention.
