SHE STOPS ON THE HIGHWAY TO RESCUE A DOG THAT GOT LOST DURING A SNOWSTORM

She pulls over on the highway to help a dog that became lost during a snowfall.
A kind woman used tortillas to assist a stray dog wandering along a Texas highway in the cold.
During the winter storms that raged over the majority of the United States, people banded together to help many animals in distress.

Kristin Salinas was out shopping for groceries for her family. On her walk home, she stumbled upon a stray dog who was ready to freeze. Kristin, an animal lover, didn’t hesitate to devise a strategy to save a sorrowful dog in need of assistance.

Because the animal is terrified, he is extremely cautious. The dog would not allow anyone to approach him, making it difficult to save a large number of him. Kristin thus used the tortillas she had just purchased from the supermarket to get him into the car and save him.

The woman made a tortilla-slice route for the dog to follow to her car, but the dog remained wary of her. Despite the heavy snowfall, Kristin refused to give up; she wanted to rescue as much of him as she could, so she enticed him with tortillas for more than 30 minutes.
The fearful Labrador approached Kristin’s car and hopped into the back seat after a brief wait.

“The dogs have no idea what’s going on, so we’re trying to help,” Christine explained to Fox San Antonio. I’m hoping that people would take the time to assist animals in need.”
Despite the fact that the sole important goal was to save as many pets as possible, the woman claimed she had no idea she was being videotaped. She also told local media that this isn’t the first time she’s rescued a stray dog, and that she routinely helps abandoned animals on the streets.

The mother brought the puppy home and did everything she could to keep him warm so he could sleep well.
She intends to try to find the dog’s owners the next day, and if she is unable to do so, she will seek a home for him through an Animal Assistance Center. Kristin posted a photo of the rescued dog to the San Antonio, Texas – Lost Dogs, Cats, & Pets Facebook page.
The intention is for the dog to be reunited with his family, but if this is not possible for any reason, he will be adopted by a compassionate family.

This was written in a Facebook post:

“Please help us discover this animal’s family by spreading this word!” He’s a black Labrador retriever boy with lovely brown eyes who is safe, warm, and well-fed! “All we want to do is find out who owns it!”

The article has gone viral, and everyone is hopeful that the rescued dog will find a forever home as soon as possible. In the comments section, social media users congratulated Kristin for saving the dog’s life.
