Even With 4 Paralyzed Legs, Unwanted Pit Bull Still Kept His Fighting Spirit
Romeo was entirely paralyzed on all four legs when he was taken in by AMA Animal Rescue, says ilovemydogsomuch.
It’s unclear what happened to him while he was homeless that caused this, but rescuers and veterinarians knew they’d do everything they could to treat him.
Romeo swiftly demonstrated that his wounds had not broken his spirit.
Romeo surprisingly began walking again after weeks of physical treatment, and within a month, he was already sprinting!
Romeo, on the other hand, was not yet out of the woods. His eyes were constantly crying, and veterinarians diagnosed him with Entropion, a disorder in which the eyelids are turned inward. Fortunately, he had a successful surgery and his eyes returned to normal.
Despite the fact that Romeo was a highly loving and devoted dog, the rescue had difficulty matching him with the ideal home. They did receive some applications for him, but many families were hesitant to adopt him after learning about Romeo’s previous injuries and the unknowns that come with them.
Romeo’s prayers were finally fulfilled after four months of waiting. He found a permanent home with a wonderful family!
