In this charming video, an explorer and a friendly bear engage in a playful water fight before snuggling up.
Getting up up and personal with a big bear is an experience that no one wants to have. However, although most of us would go in the opposite direction if we saw a bear, this guy seems overjoyed!
A Turkish explorer was seen on tape having a tender embrace with a large wild bear in fantastic video footage. The scene took place in the Altai Republic, somewhere between Russia and Kazakhstan, and shows explorer Cemal Gulas playing and cuddling with the friendly animal beneath a waterfall. Gulas and the bear had clearly met before, yet the guy approaches and embraces his furry buddy with such assurance that you may believe they put up the situation. But it isn’t at all like that. The video is part of the Asia Expedition project, which will take 20 months to complete from the Bosphorus to the Bering Strait.
Gulas, a wildlife enthusiast, is seen in the video calling out to a bear on the riverbanks. In his own tongue, the guy says, “Come to me, son.” “Come to me, sweetie,” says the narrator. Before exchanging a hearty hug, the friendly bear joins him in a silly water game.
Often misunderstood, these gigantic beasts are nothing but gentle giants, as seen by footage like this. You can see the nice interaction in the video below!
