KICKED IN HEAD & LEFT IN ALLEY TO BLEED OUT, SHE HELD ON WITH EVERY BREATH …

Peanut was transported to an emergency clinic after she was discovered bloodied from head to toe in a southern Ohio alley with a severe brain injury, according to ilovemydogsomuch.

It’s unclear what happened to her, but authorities believe she was kicked in the head or thrown from a car. They do know, though, that she was abused and abandoned.

One of her eyes was severely injured, but vets weren’t even sure if she’d survive, let alone see again.

Instead of putting her down, vets and volunteers decided to take a chance on Peanut. After the vet, rescue group Stop the Suffering brought her to Columbus, where she stayed with a foster family.

Peanut progressed rapidly throughout the course of the days.

You’d never guess she’d lived through such horrors by looking at her today. She has the appearance of any other dog and is regarded as a wonderful miracle!

Unfortunately, the trauma she suffered has left her with long-term ramifications. She always turns right and marches in circles as she was injured on the right side of her brain. She also has eyesight problems and has trouble sitting still.

Despite her ordeal at the hands of terrible people, she is still incredibly lovely and loves everyone she encounters!
