NEGLECTED PUPPY WITH SEVERE MANGE GROWS HER FUR BACK AFTER GETTING ADOPTED
|
When we hear of a dog being abandoned, it’s always terrible, but sometimes it simply crushes our hearts. That’s what occurred when we learned of a tiny puppy abandoned by her irresponsible parents in England. She was immediately hauled in by the veterinary team since she had such severe mange that she had lost all of her fur. Despite this, she has a large heart of her own.
This ill little dog was fortunate to find a forever home not long after she was rescued from her previous existence.

Jessie DeFreitas was part of the veterinary team that looked after her. She already had a few pets, but she couldn’t help but fall in love with Honey, the adorable puppy.
“I had to visit her as soon as I heard we got a new puppy.” DeFreitas informed South West News Service (SWNS), a British news agency, through Fox 7, that while she had mange, she had gorgeous eyes.
Honey was dropped off at the veterinarian clinic after being emancipated from her cruel owners. She would not have lived if she hadn’t received that expert treatment. She required regular attention, and Jesse was up to the challenge. She put in the time and effort required to nurse Honey back to health.
After three months of care at home, the dog had entirely changed.

Honey has been renamed Terra since she is a joyful ‘terrorist’ at home. She’s happy, healthy, and loving, just as you’d expect from such a cute dog.
“She’s made a fantastic recovery.” “You can see it in her eyes– she’s gotten a lot happier,” she explained. “She’s incredible.” She’s the loveliest and nicest person I’ve ever met.”
Mange is a “horrible, painful” skin ailment caused by mites, according to the American Kennel Club (AKC). Mange is quite frequent in puppies and dogs that have been neglected, mistreated, or abandoned. https://t.co/5minBXvvdL

Terra is a happy woman in her forever home. She may have had a hard start in life and endured some harsh moments, but she now has a fresh lease on life thanks to her adoptive mother.
