A young and playful Bengal tiger cub who was born at the Farm Inn Wildlife Sanctuary in South Africa. He had to be separated from his mother who lived in captivity after she began showing some aggression behavior towards him.
Anthea Michaletos said, a volunteer at the sanctuary: Hunter was born at a time when the female must have felt compised in some way as she rejected him. He was the only cub in his litter and it’s very important for him to have a companion.
This is when Hunter began to bond with Michaletos’ puppy Chelsea who was a German pointer.
The small guys are now always together, according to Michaletos. Chelsea will rush to his cage and say hello to him every morning when I take her outside. He can play just like he would with a different litter mate thanks to the assistance of his four-legged pal.
The young cubs need companionship so much that they even cry when it’s time for them to separate during the day. Unfortunately, the relationship between the two had to end because a six-month-old tiger cub can be dangerous for a six-month-old puppy to play with.
No matter what you are, love is all you need. Kindness and compassion go a long way.
Various friendships can be amazing!
If they can be friends, people from around the world should learn a thing or two from these two animals.
