Before showing up at the Harris County Animal Shelter, Karma was an abandoned and lonely stray who had been wandering the streets. She appeared to be twice her size because of the 12-week-old Shih Tzu’s matted hair. Karma had a haircut when Friends of Faye took over, and it was amazing to see how she changed from a terrified, trembling stray to a self-assured beauty queen.
Foster mother for Karma with Friends of Faye, Andi Leone, told The Dodo, “I imagine she literally was never groomed, ever.” “She was so matted that we weren’t sure how her eyes would look after being shaved. She is still somewhat sensitive to the sun. Karma is opening up since her much-needed grooming appointment. She is no longer a straggler without a family to look after her.
Leone described the youngster as “a fun, feisty little girl.” She enjoys fetch games and peaceful time spent curled up in her kennel. She has a wonderful, fun demeanor and she adores kids. Now that Karma has a hairstyle that goes with her vivacious attitude, everyone will swoon when they gaze into those adorable puppy-dog eyes, just like Leone did.
Leone remarked, “She’s a great, easy girl who gets along with everyone. She is still very much a puppy, though.
Karma is now prepared to begin seeking for her forever home, but her foster mother is confident that the ideal match will materialize soon. She gets along with the other 11 dogs we have, and our 8-year-old is her favorite, according to Leone. She enjoys playing with children, eating sweets, and squeaking toys. She has been a true joy.
