Huge Wolf Hybrid And Tiny German Shepherd Puppy Are The Cutest Playmates
|
An extinct wolf lineage had a common ancestor with dogs and wolves thousands of years ago. And, while wolves may appear to be large and frightening, if you can build a deep relationship with them, they are simply large fluffy dogs. They also have the ability to make friends with practically anyone.
Smokey is a Wolf mix weighing 127 pounds. Charlie is a German Shepherd puppy that is just 10 weeks old and weighs 20 pounds. You’d think a wolf hybrid would be too huge to safely play with a little puppy, but you’d be incorrect!

The two creatures got along pretty smoothly. Charlie and Smokey quickly created their own small pack. Of course, play fighting was a huge part of their friendship.

Charlie, despite his considerably bigger weight, is not scared to play with Smokey, and Smokey is as loving as possible with the small puppy.
Charlie’s owner decided to videotape one of the dogs’ play bouts one day. The footage is impressive.
The dogs nibble back and forth for the first few minutes while they lie next to each other.

Charlie eventually returned to Smokey for some more squabbling. Both animals were more energetic this time around.

Eventually, Smokey lay down, and Charlie kept on rushing in until he was worn out.

Charlie’s owner then uploaded the footage to YouTube, where it soon went viral. To date, it has gained over 4.8 million views. It also has more than 10,000 likes and 1,300 comments.
