Wild bear cubs were captured on camera fleeing the summer heat by playing in the water-filled backyard planter of a family’s home in Pasadena, California.

At their residence, Saunty Wang and Carlos Chaves captured the adorable moment from behind a sliding glass door. The two chairs were crammed into the planter more like birds using a birdbath.

The people said that the mother bear was keeping an eye on her cubs from a close distance. The closing scene of the short video shows the bears crawling out of their makeshift den and running out of the yard.
