Golden Retriever Puppy Is Welcomed By Everyone On The First Day Of Work

Such a sweet furbaby. She’ll be an excellent K9 Officer!

The sweetest little Golden Retriever has recently joined the Dedham Police Department in Dedham, Massachusetts, as a coworker.

The puppy was brought in to assist the school resource officers in maintaining the security of the Dedham faculty and students. The puppy’s official job title is “Community Resource Dog.”

She appears quite eager for her first day in her new job!
On his first day of work, the puppy still lacked a name, so the Dedham High School students were thrilled to give him the name Ruby!

The puppy is performing admirably in his job of de-escalating situations, engaging with vulnerable and withdrawing members of the community, interacting with those who are struggling with mental health or other difficulties, comforting victims and witnesses of violent crimes, and fostering police-community engagement, according to the Dedham Police Department.

This fluffy girl has a lot of significant work ahead of her, but we have no doubts about her ability to succeed. ❤️
She will excel as a police officer and succeed in making everyone happy!
