Seeing kind humans save animals’ lives and rescue them has been a well-known story for us. It is rare to find animals of the same species supporting one another and trying their best to help one another. That is exactly what happened in the UK. An equine colic patient was in the last moments of her life when her stablemate, Bea, supported her and even saved her life. She couldn’t get up because of equine colic. All attempts were made to save the mare’s life, but nothing was successful.
She was even pulled across the stable using machinery, but she was still unable to get up. The mare, Beatrice, is sixteen years old, was diagnosed with colic, which caused her to collapse. As her pulse and pressure reached nearly fatal levels, the unfortunate horse collapsed because of critical abdominal pain. Although her owners tried everything they could to get her back on her feet, along with exploitation machinery, none of their efforts were successful. Having lost all hope, they asked the veterinary surgeon to put her down so that she wouldn’t suffer anymore.
As Beau watched the critical situation throughout the entire time, another horse in the stall, was observing it. While his owners let him out for food, the magnificent Shire horse did not run out as he usually does, but instead stood by thestablemate’s side and helped revive her. When everyone gave up, Beau carried her head and placed her into a straight position. Beau insisted on saving her life and succeeded in doing so. See the full story below.
