NYC Carriage Horse Who Collapsed On Street, Passes Away Two Month Later

In response to Ryder’s collapse after pushing a carriage for many hours in high temperatures, numerous Hollywood celebrities signed a letter to the NYC Council.

However, the NYC police made sure that the horse was treated for his trauma at a rehabilitation farm, despite no one answering the request. A US animal organization reports that the horse died two months after the incident.

Caretakers of the rehabilitation farm, where the horse died, reported that the horse appeared traumatized, ill, and malnourished.

According to Edita Birnkrant, the director of animal association NYCLASS, what happened with Ryder had one positive outcome: the video of the incident went viral and the story became a public one with many people demanding justice for the horse. Take a look at the video below.
