Woman Stops To Investigate A Moving Trash Bag & Discovers Abandoned Puppy Inside

I was in the right place at the right time when a good Samaritan saved my life.

During a shortcut on the way to work, Malissa Sergent Lewis took a look at a black trash bag that was moving as she approached it.

In a story by the Dodo, she explained that she saw a trash bag in the road and thought, “Did I just see it move?” As she got closer, she realized that it was moving. “I couldn’t fathom how that felt. I knew there was something alive in that bag, and I had to get it out.”

She was shocked to discover that the trash bag (which could’ve been a wild animal) contained a black puppy when she pulled over to inspect it (which was quite risky).

Furthermore, the pooch wore a collar, suggesting that he had previously belonged to an owner. This puppy had been intentionally dumped.

Lewis took the pup home and posted a picture of him on social media, in case he was stolen, or if anyone claimed him.

Hefty becomes part of the Lewis family after being found in a trash bag by a kind woman. It was his destiny to be rescued and now lives a happy, healthy life!
