After hug ,a shelter dog saves his best friend hours before euthanasia.

Kala and Keira, two shelter dogs who were scheduled to be euthanized on Monday, proved that love is the best way to save a life.

In a final effort to find them a permanent home and spare them from their doom, Angels Among Us Pet Rescue uploaded a picture of Kala cuddling Keira.
Within minutes after being posted to Facebook, the picture was shared thousands of times, helping the two dogs find a new home two hours later.

The icing on the cake is that the local resident who showed up at the shelter decided to adopt both Kala and Keira, allowing them to live together forever.

“If no one saves us, someone will take her away from me” was the caption of the picture
