Catey Hall, her daughter, frequently finds Lon Watson dozing off on the couch whenever she visits him. The father, however, is never left alone since every dog in the area comes to join in on the snooze.

Watson, who works for the neighborhood animal shelter Pound on the Hill, has always had a soft spot for animals. He has made it his life’s work to rescue dogs and place them in loving homes. When she was a little child, dogs have been cared after by Catey’s family, she claimed.

After being married, Catey frequently returns to her parents’ house, which has space for several pets. Her father continues to make every effort to place pets in forever homes. While Catey’s parents are now caring for four dogs, Rosie, Fluffer-Nutter, and Hooch, three dogs from the neighborhood, spend a lot of time at their house.
