(VIDEO) Dog Covered In Soot and Ash Spent Her Nights Sleeping Outside On An Old Burnt Couch.

A dog was left behind in an industrial area and eventually sought shelter at a nearby fire station.

The dog had been hiding under cars during the day and sleeping on a smoldering couch at night.

One of the seasoned firefighters present, Rudy, observed the filthy stray dog and knew something had to be done. He immediately got in touch with Hope For Paws Rescue and asked for help.

As soon as they got his message, Hope For Paws raced over to save the puppy.

The dog, which was covered in soot and ash, was quite frightened and resisted being brought close to the rescuer. The dog would go to the burned sofa, which had come to serve as a sort of safe haven for her whenever he attempted to approach her.

Eventually, with the help of a cheeseburger, he gained her trust.

The filth was being cleaned from her body, revealing her brilliant white fur, washing away her prior horrible existence.

Wags and Walks fostered Waka, who is now prepared for adoption. Now that she is safe, sound, and content, she is anxious to find her forever home and leave her past behind.

One thing is certain: she will never again have to spend her evenings sleeping on a charred couch!
