Those who do not respect their selfless friendship abandon countless animals on the streets. Fortunately, there are individuals like Sasha Pesic who have helped homeless dogs and provided them with all the care they need for a long time.

This man, who is considered as one of Serbia’s leading animal rights campaigners, opened his own shelter in 2008, which today homes 750 dogs.
Pesic’s story began the next year, when he was driving home and came upon four abandoned puppies. He couldn’t stop himself from wanting to save them, and despite his limited financial means, he began to put up a plan to help them.

Sasha was able to begin her shelter with the support of six volunteers, providing a home and food for all of the animals, and she has been able to keep it running thanks to contributions from all around the world. He knows the names of every animal he cares for, vaccinates, sterilizes, and tags with an identifying microchip
Sasha has rescued around 1,200 dogs, with over 400 of them adopted by people all throughout the world. He is unquestionably a terrific role model for everyone.
