Abandoned Sick Dog Uses Leaves Under a Tree as a Bed (VIDEO)

In Greece, while they went about their regular business of feeding the stray dogs, Valia and her fellow DAR Animal Rescue volunteers discovered a dog curled up behind a tree.

As Valia paused to give him a snack, she peered into his eyes and saw right away that he was ill and in need of assistance.

Valia quickly ran out to him, scooped him up and took him to the car.

The spaniel was probably a hunting dog that was retired because he fell ill and was no longer of any service.

As Valia drove the dog to the vet he howled from his crate.

But he was patient, gentle and calm as the vet checked him over.

He may have been cast off and left to die, but he’s in caring hands now!
