Rare White Foal a Patchen Wilkes farm Specialty (Video)

In the horse world, the birth of a thoroughbred is such an unusual thing and that’s why it is constantly a special event when a white foal comes to life.

I’m quite sure that the majority of equestrians should have heard about Patchen Wilkes, a farm that focuses on breeding white foals.

A wonderful white foal. She was born with some gastrointestinal problems and that’s why they had to take her away from her mother and sent to a clinic.

She still had the dominant white gene to have a white foal. It was the thirteenth white foal since 1995 and the farm manager Barry Ezrine says that the birth of every white foal comes as a shock for them.

He claims that there is no way of knowing if the foal is going to be white until it is born. Ezrine also claims that “white thoroughbreds foal are extremely unusual.

Out of the 10s of thousands of thoroughbreds born around the country every year, usually, just three or four are white.
