When he was brought to the Washington shelter, Roscoe was just a puppy. He continued to behave strangely, avoiding making eye contact with others, and always appeared melancholy, despite the worries of the staff. Consequently, the volunteers started to wonder if he had ever been nurtured by a kind family. Without asking anything in return, those who cared about him placed a message on social media about him. A miracle happened. A farmer phoned the shelter shortly after, claiming that his pet had gone missing three years earlier. He had been looking for it for a long time, going through all of the available advertising. The doggie, on the other hand, did not appear. The guy was called to the facility so that he could confirm that it was really his buddy who was spending his days years ago.

When the farmer arrived, there was no need for evidence. As soon as Roscoe caught a glimpse of the guy, he grew anxious and rushed over to him, his tail wagging joyously. It was impossible for the dog to keep his tears from streaming down his face as the long wait had finally ended.
