Try to remove the stimuli initially if you believe your dog is in discomfort. Use a white noise machine or try keeping the dog in a quiet area. If the dog is silent, give it a treat. If not, disregard it. Dogs can’t talk, but they can recognize the value of affection and food. It may be an indication of neurological issues if your Chihuahua is having breathing difficulties. While some of these issues may be signs of a more serious condition, others are merely transient.
