Every Day, Kind-Hearted Boy Helps Blind Deer Find Food Before School

An impressive picture was shared on social media with a boy from Illinois walking beside a blind beautiful deer. It’s not something usual to see a human being so close with a timid animal, yet the story behind this picture is pretty amazing.

Every morning, before the boy goes to school, he helps the deer find a place to eat and rest. He takes him from one patch of grass to another, guiding him safely along the way. This kid is deer’s guardian angel as the poor animal wouldn’t easily survive in the nature all alone.

“There is a blind deer in our neighborhood and this boy (10 yrs old) walks her from one grass patch to another every day before school to make sure she finds food”

With days passing by and people talking about it, the news reached a local rescue center, which immediately decide to take care of the deer and help him live in safety.

“The deer is getting picked up today by a local animal rescue group (NOT animal control) and taken to a vet for assessment. It will likely be tagged and taken to a controlled forest preserve but they did say that since she seemed so docile that she might end up in an approved farm or petting zoo.”

Maybe it’s not as nice as being free in the wild but in the deer’s condition that’s the best option.

Thanks to this amazing little boy, the deer is now safe and was given a second chance.
