In Colorado, a Great Pyrenees puppy and a wild elk cross paths and have a sweet kiss.

Following the devastating effects of Winter Storm Xylia on Colorado, Laura Sturges, a resident of Loveland, shared a sweet video of a juvenile elk that was wandering over to the wire fence and giving her pet Winston a huge kiss.
The elks were infatuated with her puppy, but they didn’t appear to be much that interested in Sturges. Two separate elks approached Winston and gave the dog nose kisses, the lady told the Reporter-Herald.

“I was almost in tears, it was so beautiful,” Sturges told the outlet of the moment, part of which she captured on camera.

Sturges said that she kept an eye on Winston and the elk throughout the entire interaction to ensure that neither creature got aggressive with one another.
“It was magical,” she said of the entire interaction.
